- Medium sized onions 2
- Besan 1 cup
- Rice flour 1/4 cup
- Green chillies chopped 1 table spoon
- Curry leaves chopped 1/2 tablespoon
- Cilantro chopped 1/2 table spoon
- Baking soda/powder 1/8th spoon
- Salt to taste
- Oil for frying
Preparation
- Slice the onion and add salt to it leave for 2 minutes so that water comes out of onions.
- To the flours add baking powder,chillies,curry leaves,cilantro.
- Mix all the ingredients well.Don't make the batter runny.It should be thick.
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Using your fingers drop small amounts of batter in oil.
- Fry till golden brown and put the over a paper towel so that excess oil is absorbed.
- Serve hot with chutney,tea or coffee.
