Ingredients Required:
Milk 10 oz
Dark chocolate 2 squares
Semisweet Chocolate chips 1/8 cup
Cocoa 1 teaspoon (optional)
Brown sugar to taste
Large Egg yolk 1
Preparation:
- In a microwave safe bowl melt together dark chocolate and chocolate chips in a splash of milk for 30 seconds.
- In a bowl whisk together melted chocolate,coco powder ,brown sugar and milk.
- Add the egg yolk and mix it well.
- Spoon the batter into cups.Place them in a baking pan
- Add enough hot water to the baking pan to come halfway up the side of the cups.
- Place the pan in a preheated oven and bake this on 300 F for 15 -20 min.
- Remove and serve warm or chilled.
- Top it with ginger candy or hard butterscotch candy.
Suggestions:
- These chocolate cups are slightly hard outside and extremely rich,chocolatey and gooey inside.
- It can stay fresh upto a day in the fridge and can be reheated in the microwave for 10 to 15 seconds.
- More sugar can be added for extra sweetness ,but i like mine bitter.
